What does the Cascade fee include?

Coaching at the 3 chosen races, Central Division qualifiers, and Sunday practices are included in the Cascade USSA fee.

Are there other fees? 

Yes, to race USSA and be scored you must be a USSA member and a Region 2 member.  In addition, each race you choose to race is an additional fee.  Here is the link to the Region 2 information about membership and race fees. You will be responsible for registering for membership in USSA and, Region 2, and for each race on your own.  [Note the deadline for USSA returning members is October 15 after a late fee is applied.] http://r2.f4i.com/?page_id=152 Region 2 registration is usually in December, each race deadline is usually the week before the race.

What are the chosen races?

The calendar has not been set yet for all of the USSA races.  The tentative planned races are, races will be determined by coaches and USSA participants.  Usually, we do:

  • Shelly Glover Memorial Race – Marquette MI is tentatively January 13-15 2017
  • Central U14/16 Championships is tentatively to scheduled for February 24-26 2017

Are there additional volunteer requirements?

Yes, USSA region sets volunteer expectations and there are sign ups for each race your child attends.
